"The Chain Exhibition is a gorup exhibition featuring eight artists chosen through a chain reaction: the two project leaders Lea Emilie Hansen and María Kristín Antonsdóttir have each invited one artist, who have each invited a new artist and so forth. In this way, the group exhibition is set through an experiment to create a more democratic selection of artists. In the end, the chain is forged together as a ring, and each artist creates a new work af art inspired by the former person in the chain."
